While walking the blue carpet July 24 at Sony's "The Smurfs" 3D premiere at the Ziegfeld Theater, star George Lopez confessed, "I'm really not sure what a Smurf is. I'm happy to just be one. I'm the voice of Grouchy Smurf -- even though I'm not sure what I am."Ditto Jeff Foxworthy, who voiced another Smurf: "I have no idea," he said. "They're close to the ground and they're blue." "Glee's" Jayma Mays gave the right answer: "A Smurf is a little blue creature that is three apples high according to legend. They all have very unique identities and they're all about families and togetherness, and they're wonderful."Director Raja Gonsell confirmed, "A Smurf is a humanic character three apples high who lives in the forest in Belgium."
